Wednesday: Another Dreary Day

Mid-morning audio, cowboy boots, I stared, he looked back, but I was back inside before it all registered.

Tuesday: Chilly, Damp, Needed Indian Food

Lots of sightings of those wonderful lime/yellow mid-weight police coats today. I think I want one. Boot sightings: few (overcast skies and old eyes don't make this easy). The Indian food was great!

Monday, Monday: Good but Still a Monday

In addition to the historical visit in the video, I spent some time in two western wear/boot stores and an Army/Navy surplus store -- sightings, yes, but I feel like I'm cheating.

This is the last video for a while since family stuff will be taking more of my time. [Sighs of relief from several readers].

Sunday: Somewhat Overcast in the AM, Clearer in the PM, Jacket Appreciated

The route I took today through the lower Blue Ridge Mountains is always good for cowboy boot sightings, and today was not a disappointment. At lunch, there were three; at WalMart, two; getting gas, two (one with a cowboy hat) plus a biker harness boot. And, most men there seem to know that jeans are supposed to show, not hide, things.

Saturday: Cooler but Nice

Boot sightings good: two cowboy boot sightings and a pair of well-worn tan Wellingtons worn over jeans. Men sightings were good too, including the short, stocky, cowboy-booted dad with a Wrigley Field sweatshirt and the muscular Wellington guy.

Friday: Cool but Beautiful

Since most of the day was spent in the car, I didn't have many sightings. I did, however, notice that more construction guys were wearing logger-type work boots (that once were probably black or dark brown).

Thursday: Rain, Gloom, Torrents, Then Sprinkles

I had fairly good sighting of Mass., NY, and NJ state policemen today before the torrents began. Driving in torrents isn't fun. And, I wasn't thinking of hip waders or rainsuits today. But it did cross my mind that if I had to get out of the car, scuba gear might have been nice.
