Sunday: Another Great Day

Sightings: 1) big muscular NH state trooper on the side of the road slowing traffic; 2) short, compact biker who took his time drying his hands, while staring at my boots (heavy laced biker boots on him); 3) cowboy boots in a craft store; 4) another short, compact guy, this one in leather pants (black & red hankies in the left pocket, biker wallet on the right) in the supermarket who also kept looking at my boots (harness boots on him). I stared, too.

Saturday: Nice in the Sun

Several cowboy boots sightings: at lunch and at Wal-Mart.

Saturday: Rain Clearing and 40's

Tony Lama black cherry cowboy boots (all day today, including the musical tonight; the TL problem last Saturday wasn't the boots but the socks; whew!), black Wrangler jeans, new black & white plaid flannel shirt, lightweight navy thermal long-sleeve T, black pouch briefs, thinner Dickies socks.

Warm enough to have a MSP sighting without a jacket (even my normal boot obsession was drawn to the French blue shirt). In spite of being out and about a good part of the day and evening, not much else.

Saturday: 70 Degrees

Changed into black bullhide Nocona boots (the TL's were giving me some slight trouble) and a white shirt (to look a little classier) for the evening out.

70 may not be the official temperature, but the car was displaying that several times today.

And, I cheated again by seeing cowboy boots (big ones -- well over size 12) in a boot store (needed Lexol; also bought a shirt on sale and a pair of larger Wranglers I can wear with long underwear; almost bought another belt, but decided I really do have too many).

The Night Before: Sunny, Clear with a Cool Wind

Final food shopping and just driving around yielded a nice tan work boot sighting.

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

Saturday: Cooler but Nice

Boot sightings good: two cowboy boot sightings and a pair of well-worn tan Wellingtons worn over jeans. Men sightings were good too, including the short, stocky, cowboy-booted dad with a Wrigley Field sweatshirt and the muscular Wellington guy.

Saturday: Generally Cool & Nice

Sunday: Turned Out to be Fairly Nice

Made a biker and his lady smile while trying to figure out what kind of boots he had on.

Sunday: Rain Coat
