We visited the "Quiet Corner" of Conn. today. There was a guy in cowboy boots in the antique store, but his wife kept getting in the way of picture taking; he wore a leather vest which, despite my cold, I could smell.

Late lunch at Subway yielded two nice sightings: woofy refrigerator repair guy in work boots and a big security?/cop? in gray BDUs and black military boots (he was buying a foot-long).

Sorry no pics (not even of my own boots) of them. You'll just have to settle for two items on sale at the antique store and a bad photo of the T-shirt (one of several), my Christmas present to myself bought from NCBootdude (they are still on sale).

#2: I don't like musicals.
#1: I don't usually like musicals either. But, I like this one. It's different.
#2: It's boring.
#1: It's different like "Chicago."
#2: "Chicago" was boring, too. There's only five musicals I've ever liked.
#1: Which ones?
#2: "Cats ..."

Sighting: a big county sheriff stopping traffic to let a big motorcycle parade begin. Unfortunately, I was five cars away, and there were far too many sneakers and shorts in the parade.

The crazy weather brought out all sorts of men's wear, but there were plenty of logger and hiking boots. And got the high sign from a guy (with his wife), male bonding with straight guys is so weird.
