Perfect Weather on Sunday

The recently acquired Lucchese boots (took a bit of nerve to wear them, but I did), chocolate-color Wranglers, tan Carhartt short sleeve shirt, Carhartt logo T, black Musingwear pouch briefs, Dickies socks.

A few quick sightings of some cowboy boots and engineers; mostly, alas, sneakers and sandals.

Take Me Out on Saturday

Good day for facial hair sightings of all kinds; bad day for boots. Nice to see a guy at dinner who had them both and who is making me re-think my usual loose T policy.

Friday Before a Long Weekend

Carolina loggers, regular fit Carhartt jeans, tan shirt, white T, black briefs, Dickies socks.

It was a good jeans day -- not jeans on other men but jeans on me. I really can't judge how I looked. But how they felt was wonderful. They grabbed me by the hips and helped me stand and walk with confidence. And, when my shirt, T, and briefs were fighting with each other, they stayed appropriately steady and strong, with an occasional soft caress when I needed it.

This is probably the strangest thing I've written so far and the most ungrammatical. Thank goodness the weather is better and it's a long weekend.

Thursday: The Last Day in this Pattern of Humidity?

Had several opportunities for sightings on the way into work. The best was the guy in the orange T holding a large rebar.

Almost False Rain Threat on Wednesday

Bates military again (maybe it really will rain for more than a few minutes if I don't wear waterproof boots like these), odd-fitting black plain front Farah pants, thick striped shirt, white T, gray boxer briefs, Dickies work socks.

Had a very nice look/stare at the front of the Carhartt jeans I saw on Monday.

Monday Went Quickly: Thank Goodness!

Only a quick view (but nice) of the construction site, only a quick nice view of the back of some Carhartt jeans, only a quick nice view of my bus driver's goatee. Better quick than none at all.

Scorching Sunday

Another day confined largely to private air-conditioned space, so not a lot of chance to get a good look at boots, etc. I wonder what other men were wearing ...

Highest Temperature in 3 Years on Saturday

Surprised and happy to see a number of men in jeans and work boots at the supermarket (expected more shorts and sandals). Didn't get many chances to view, however. What were other men wearing?

Is It Friday Yet?

Back to Work: When Thursday Feels Like Monday

A Mere 350 Miles on Wednesday

Western Chiefs, regular fit Carhartt jeans, red Carhartt T, navy knit boxer briefs, Dickies work socks.

Nice welcome home seeing a local motorcycle officer directing traffic with boots almost knee high.

Only 450 Miles on Tuesday

New Lucchese boots again (probably won't re-appear for a while), loose fit stonewashed Cinch jeans, short sleeve black plaid Carhartt shirt (no T), black jockey pouch briefs, gray boot socks.

Sighted only one other pair of cowboy boots. Slow down for road construction just not slow enough to check out the rubber overboots (it wasn't muddy so don't know why they had them on).

650 Miles on Monday

Durango cowboy work boots, stonewashed Wrangler's, medium blue Carhartt T, old FTL tightie whities, Carhartt white work socks.

Somewhat disappointing day for boot sightings. Then again, a quick trip to a boot store after lunch had a young sales guy recognize my boots. Just couldn't see much of his.

600 Miles on Sunday

New Lucchese boots, dark brown Wrangler's, black Carhartt T, black Musingwear pouch briefs, Dickie's work socks. Belt matching the boots. But I am losing my Wrangler butt and gaining a Wrangler gut!
