Chippewa steel-toe engineer boots, black pleated pants, navy and light blue check shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks. And, yellow Carhartt slicker.
I was rewarded for a long wait at the AM bus stop by: 1) A beefy member of my town's Finest "mobile unit" who did an illegal u-turn a half-block after my stop rather than legally turning down the street at the stop and then had to wait a long time for the light--beefy calves which would have been more
intimidating commanding if the boots had gone up closer to his knees. 2) A pug-ish Italian bus driver with a South Boston (definitely not Revere) accent with goo on his hair and his Oakley's
on his head (probably because of the all-day rain). I was not rewarded on the way home. Soaked up to the knee. Pants off and drying (last weekend's jeans are on).
