Weird Weather, But It's Friday & I Don't Care

Bates military boots, black plain front Farah pants, fine blue check blue shirt, white T, navy boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks. Dressing like an adult on casual Friday I can deal with -- especially when I get to have a casual Monday. No meetings!

Thursday: Beautiful - But I was Inside All Day

Black Timberland PRO boots, black pleated Dockers, pants, medium navy stripe shirt, white T, navy boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Wednesday: Absolutely Beautiful

Chippewa logger boots, black Levi's 501 jeans, blue shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Tuesday: Nice and Nice Living in the Past

Carolina loggers, black Carhartt jeans, thick blue stripe shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Today I was combing through late 19th century men's facial hair, or rather late 19th century photos of men, mostly with facial hair. I have lots on my other laptop, but this one will have to do now as an example.

Monday: Kinda Nice

Bates military boots, navy pleated Dockers pants, navy medium check shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

After yesterday's sighting, I think I need to shut up for a while.

Sunday: Bad Weather Prediction (Actually, A Nice Day)

Chippewa steel toe engineer boots, dark black Carhartt jeans, navy medium stripe shirt, gray T & pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks. The reason for the steel toe boots was that I had expected to have my feet stepped upon because of where our seats were located today; for various reasons, they weren't necessary.

Oh, and, silver-haired and mustached cop, I do hope you're a bottom and like shorter guys.

Oh, Clockner, stop thinking that.

Saturday: Bad Weekend for Weather

Black Justin cowboy boots, Wrangler blue jeans, tan/red/black/blue plaid Carhartt shirt, black T & briefs, usual Dickies socks. It was a good basket day -- was it because the jeans were a little looser, the briefs not the usual, or my gut in need of tightening?

In spite of the weather, it was a good boots-on-good-looking-mature-men day. A beautifully polished pair of harness boots and a wonderfully scruffed pair. Two guys in cowboy boots (including one who did a double-take on mine). Several Engineer boots. Work boots--lots.

Friday: A Great Day

Timberland PRO work boots, black Carhartt jeans, blue fine check light blue shirt, white T & briefs, usual Dickies (steel toe) socks.

Great day! Talk with one of my favorite co-worker carrying a DeWalt power drill , a big mutual wave to a favorite cop, some great smiles and "Hi's" -- Friday!

Thursday: Cooler and Quite Nice

Chippewa logger boots, black Carhartt jeans, fine blue check blue shirt, white T, gray pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Wednesday, September 20, 2006

Wednesday: Absolutely Gorgeous Weather

Carolina loggers, black plain front Bass pants with short pockets, the red/blue fine check on blue shirt that I can never get the description right, white T, gray pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks. There's something about wearing those scruffed up boots with the always perfectly looking black pants that's just so wired; I love it.

Today I waited far too long at the bus stop. I did enjoy the weather, and it was a much needed contemplation time. A house painter with Sherwin-Williams brand painter pants (I want a pair) came up the sidewalk from a fenced-in yard just down the street to get some coffee at the convenience store at the corner. Then he walked back coffee cup in hand. About 10 minutes later he opened the gate with no coffee cup in hand and looked up the sidewalk in my direction; he stared. That lasted for about eight minutes, and then he went back into the yard. Just a really odd sighting. And, it didn't involve a "hi" or even eye contact. Sorry for such a long post. And, sorry for this post's title, but it was a very wonderful weather day.

Tuesday: Warmer Still

Rocky police boots, black Carhartt jeans (kept falling down today for some reason), dark navy small check shirt, white T, gray boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

On my way from the bus stop into work, I ran into a guy my age who works near me. We've never introduced ourselves, never even really talked, but we always say "hi" or smile at each other. It was a hearty "hi" this time. The fact that he works facilities and I, well, let's just say I sometimes have to look professional, doesn't matter. He wears a wedding ring; I don't, but we're both married. There's something about being this age I really like.

Monday: Warmer Than It's Been

Chippewa Crazy Horse work boots, black Dockers pleated pants, wide blue stripe shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Sunday: Beautiful, Fall is Coming

Brown Boulet cowboy boots, GuideGear tan dungarees, navy Carhartt shirt, navy Carhartt T, white briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Driving through the countryside yielded lots of biker sightings (including the first sighting this fall of a guy in biker chaps) but unfortunately most biker boot sightings were fleeting. Yet there were a lot of work boot sightings while shopping. And, the weather was very nice.

Saturday, September 16, 2006

Saturday: Kind of Beautiful

Tan Justin cowboy boots, Wrangler blue jeans, wide blue plaid Carhartt shirt, black T & pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks. I looked somewhat trashy today -- not slutty -- probably because of the blue head rag.

Boot sightings: I feel like I cheated since they were in a Western wear store where I bought a replacement for a lost belt (which I will probably find tomorrow).

Friday: All Sorts of Weather, But No Rain

Rocky police boots, navy Dockers pleated pants, wide blue stripe shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

A good day (among other things was introduced to someone with a complimentary statement about both my age and sexuality), but what a week! Longing for the cowboy boots....

Thursday: Gray Skies, Then Rain

Bates military boots, plain from Farah pants, navy medium stripe shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

On the way to work: A closed road for construction (in Mass. that means police on either end) allowed some nice sightings of construction guys doing manly things (including one that provided a nice rear view while pulling up his jeans) and a very woofy tow guy doing his thing. These views were only allowed to those walking or riding bicycles. I was one of the former.

Then, on morning break, walking through a parking lot and finding a pinch pin clutch. Given the location, most likely a cop's. The smallest things delight me. Besides, I'm missing one of mine.

Wednesday: Yet Another Nice Day

Chippewa Crazy Horse work boots, black Carhartt jeans, blue/red small check on light blue shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Tuesday, September 12, 2006

Tuesday: Crisply Fall-ish & Nice

Carolina loggers, black plain front Farah pants, medium check navy shirt, white T & briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Today's post title is the worst yet.

Monday, September 11, 2006

Monday: Quite Cool, Fairly Sunny

Black Timberland PRO work boots, navy Dockers pants, thin navy stripe shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Too unawake on the bus to wonder what the young stud walking on the street was listening to on his iPod (is there a gay version?) that caused him to keep adjusting his crotch. Too hungry to really appreciate the two local cops in great shape and in crisp, tight uniforms paying for their Chinese food when I really wanted to order mine.

Sunday: Turned Out Very Nice

Lucchese 1883 cigar-colored lizard cowboy boots, brown Wrangler jeans, blue/white plaid Carhartt shirt, navy Carhartt T. gray Cowboy Up briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Addendum: two pairs of riding boots with English spurs in the play (go here, click on Ladew's History, go to the last picture, look, and then read the names in his guest book).

Saturday, September 09, 2006

Saturday: Nice

Black Justin cowboy boots, black Wrangler jeans, maroon/black/tan Dockers shirt, black T, white pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Favorite supermarket didn't fail in work boot sightings, and there was a bonus military boot sighting.

Friday: Good Weather, Long Day, Double Post

Carolina loggers, black Carhartt jeans, purple/black plaid Carhartt shirt, white T, white pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Around 6PM, changed into: Chippewa Crazy Horse work boots, black Levi 501's (remembered Aug. 23, 2006, reminder to self about key holder and hanky), tan shirt, gray pouch briefs, same socks (the one part of my body that rarely gives me trouble in social situations).

Thursday, September 07, 2006

Early Thursday: At Least the Weather was Nice

Bates military boots, navy pleated Dockers, medium stripe navy shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies steel toe socks.

No post-worthy sightings, but the same/old-same/old sightings aren't bad either.

Wednesday, September 06, 2006

Wednesday: Cloudy but Nice

Rocky police boots, navy pleated Farah pants, wide blue stripe shirt, white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

I'd like to retire these pups, but they don't seem to wear out. Thought they'd really deserved a better photo.

Tuesday, September 05, 2006

Tuesday: Kind of Cloudy

Black Timberland PRO work boots, black Carhartt jeans, fine check navy shirt, white T, navy boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Before I went to bed last night, I packed away all of my white shoes, pants, and gloves.

Monday, September 04, 2006

Labor Day: Very Nice

Brown Lucchese 2000 cowboy boots, Cinch blue jeans, red/white/blue/black check western shirt, gray T, red knit boxers, usual Dickies socks.

Lunch at a favorite diner allowed one cowboy boot sighting (and a nice brief acknowledgement of seeing mine) and several harness and engineer boot sightings. Oh, and good food, too. Oh, yes, and the manager looks like Ray Harley.

Stumbling into a small town Labor Day parade allowed sightings of local police (in Class A and B uniforms), some sheriffs, and a fireman playing with his hose (unfortunately, he wasn't wearing fire gear below his waist.

Sunday, September 03, 2006

Sunday: Warmer with Rain

Black Sendra cowboy boots (waterproof), black Wrangler jeans, black Wrangler shirt, tan Carhartt T, white briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Saturday, September 02, 2006

Saturday: Cloudy and Cool

Caramel Lucchese cowboy boots, Wrangler blue jeans, purple/black check Carhartt shirt, black T, white briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Several work boots in my favorite supermarket (one of these days I'll remember to have my phone with me so I can take a picture).

Friday, September 01, 2006

Friday (Yee-Haw!): Nice Day

Chippewa Crazy Horse work boots, navy pleated Dockers pants, navy medium check shirt, white T, gray pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks.

What a week. I am so wiped.
