I thought I wouldn't have had any sightings to mention. On the way home, however, I saw a local cop in really high, well worn but very well shined boots. Must be a boot man.

The day's sightings started out great (two cops with different kinds of rainwear, eight construction guys in yellow overboots standing around each other), but the rain later kept the cops in their cars and the construction guys with holes in their jeans out of the rain.

Good day, however, for sightings:

• Construction guy with so many holes in his jeans, I could tell hewas wearing black boxer briefs.
• Cop below my window and then for a half hour wearing what appeared to be Heat Gear® white sleeveless T (off duty temporarily?).
• Good looking landscaper in a stopped truck who was really checking me (or maybe it was the bad landscaping behind me) out.

Due to the rain, I got a close look (and conversation) with a cop in rain gear.

A triple crown? Harness boots at lunch; cowboy boots on the street; combat boots at the entrance.

As expected while touring a battle site: work boots, another pair of cowboy boots, a good-looking Park Ranger. As unexpected in a supermarket parking-lot: a long stare and he wasn't looking at the smile on my face.

A visit to Cabela's. Finally a nice cowboy boot sighting. Lots of Wrangler butts, also; unfortunately most of them were wearing sneakers.

Was wearing these boots on June 15 when I saw officers of the New York State Police. Did again today. Also several motorcycle cops in MA, nice work boots in PA, and some nice biker boots in NY.
