Day was amazing: 27th Annual National Peace Officers Memorial Day Service on the west lawn of the Capitol; weather (see the title); company, sightings, observations, and conversations were phenomenal and fun. Once, again, thanks to bullneck !

Travel was easy and uneventful. Some interesting biker leather sightings, but when you're driving 350 miles you can't slow down to take in a view. On the other hand, driving through a small town with a speed limit of 25, I did note a biker wearing brown cowboy boots.

Today, I finally met live someone (70s, very talkative, Southern woman) at work, with whom I've corresponded by email for 5 years; great time! So this isn't a sighting, just a rare insight on the Internet gets us all connected.

Going through some gear was, may I say, fun.
