Thanks to Beethoven and something known locally as "Head of the Chuck" (aka "Charles"; a college regatta), several sightings of MSP big guys in winter uniforms (probably cursing the fact that they're wool).

Cowboy boots sightings in the supermarket and on the stage tonight (and not, as is often the case, hidden by a viola player).

Friday: Foggy, Warm, Cloudy

Chippewa steel toe engineers, black casual Friday Carhartt jeans, medium navy stripe shirt, white T, black pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks.

He was back today and inside my building....

Thursday: Foggy and Cloudy

Rocky zipper paratrooper boots, black microfiber pleated pants (with an inside waist button, metal slide bar waist clasp, outer side button--all designed to keep my pants on and make my zipper difficult to zip), blue shirt (buttoned-down, of course), white T, black boxer briefs, usual Dickies socks. And, a sports coat, which it turned out I didn't need. So glad I didn't plan on a tie.

The construction stuff around work just gets stranger and stranger, but an Italian cop I hadn't seen before (30s pattern-balding and growing rear) was the best sighting today. Second was the big lug construction worker (tan boots) whose crotch moved in a way that I knew it was the real thing (not a sock).

Saturday: A Beautiful Fall Day

Justin vintage black on white (another pair of) square toe cowboy boots (this being one of the boots I've had for several months and hadn't worn), black Wrangler jeans, chambray Carhartt shirt, black T & briefs, usual Dickies socks and black Justin OTC socks.

Sightings: Amazing harness boots at HomeDepot. Logger boots at both an antique store and in the men's department at Wal-Mart (some mutal observation there).

Friday: General Drizzle (or is it Generally Drizzly?)

An interesting day: 1) I don't seem to fighting the cold like I have for the last 7 days; 2) Fall allergies are bad; 3) On late morning break: The fire alarm in the building next door to work brought not only the local firefighters (including a very hot daddy [younger than me, of course]), but one very tall and muscular motorcycle cop with extremely tight breeches.

Caramel ostrich boots sighting. Given the expensive (the raveling was not natural) casual clothes on this elderly (probably my age) guy and the fact that the woman he was with was "trophy," the boots were probably not "ostrich print."
