I think most of my best sightings were on the way to the bus stop this morning, but I wasn't all that awake. I did get to sit near the front and watch one of my favorite bus drivers.

The drive back was good, and I was surprised how little traffic there was. In spite of all the bikers out, the only ones that I got close to were wearing sneakers and little or leather. And, the up-close cops were young and skinny.

A do-nothing day, a little this and a little that and some different videos you'll have to wait for. Great cheese-steak sandwich (I am in Pa.) for lunch. Sighting? A nice-looking guy with a dip can in his front pocket on the elevator.

Toured Steamtown in Scranton, Pa. If you like big guys in overalls who don't need machines to bend steel, the shop tour is a must.

Waiter tonight was family, and I think he knew I was, too.

Monday: Partly Sunny & Partly Cloudy, Then Sunny

Durango triple-dyed again (I didn't have them on much yesterday, and I know they'd be great for a day of driving), black Carhartt dungarees, denim Carhartt western shirt, black T, black pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Road work (one lane road ahead) on route 23 just inside NY state afforded a great sighting of construction bears, including one with gray hair, who, when I gave him a thumbs up, nodded in acknowledgment.

There are at least 6 beefy wireless network installers on my floor in the hotel. They're all probably asleep right now since they were all down in the bar for happy hour at 6.

Rocky zipper paratrooper boots, new muted dark blue/black medium check sport coat and new black microfiber pleated pants (bought when I was on a half day off and wearing jeans and a head wrap and on purpose was looking like trash; sport coat was on sale and 1/2 price super sale and cost $40), white shirt, yellow with blue/silver stripe tie, white T, usual Dickies socks. Yea, looking good. "Your blue eyes are even more blue" (thanks, mom, for the blue eyes!).

Worth the tie.

Is his name Frank or Jim? Several of the cops on construction-related detail near work are very friendly. Sully has been retired for over a year. The other Frank I recognize. I just can't remember which of the other two is Frank and which is Jim (they're both, at least in part, of Italian ancestry). Anyway, Frank or Jim and I briefly discussed landscaping and outdoor lighting today. His ass is getting bigger :)

I may have to wear a tie tomorrow, so I was glad today gave me a pleasing sight.

Monday: Another Very Nice Day

"Is he family?" Question came from family but divide my age in half and subtract a few for the one who asked. My answer "I don't know." Today I think maybe. [Why do I have conversations like with guys in the mid to late 20s and don't have them with the 40s guys (friends lists are exceptions)?]

The construction project next to where I work celebrated a milestone under a tent, and all the workers were given a free lunch. So, somewhere about 11:15, there's a line forming of guys in jeans, T's of all sorts of colors, safety vests, work boots, and hardhats. And, what do guys in hardhats eat? I'm told it was barbecue.
