Lots of work boots. And, I'm sorry that I made a certain man uncomfortable with the these boots on.

Sunny on Friday

Lots of work boots (and a few tight jeans - or, were they wearing long underwear?) at Wal-Mart.

Finally got to see some Red Wings that I would really like to have. I'd really like to find them on sale. Next two years have me only traveling in the north east, mid-west, and south east. Any suggestions for where I could get them on sale. Shoud I ask this question to a larger of our community?

First sighting in several days of a guy in Carhartt arctic coveralls. Thank goodness he didn't see the weather prediction.

Cold on Tuesday

Waited behind a guy with incredibly tight thick black jeans at the donut shop. Thank goodness for slow service.

Monday: Overly Rainy

Durango work cowboy boots, black Wrangler jeans, new purple/white/black check Carhartt shirt, new fleece/thermal navy long sleeve T, black boxer briefs, black/gray boot socks.

Sunday: Over 50 (well, 51 degrees)

Black Nocona boots, unbleached Wranglers, same shirt as Saturday (rarely do that), long sleeve navy Carhartt T, black boxer briefs, usual socks.

Saturday: Almost 50 (degrees)

Western Chiefs (used, abused, should have worn them over my jeans), stonewashed Carhartt jeans, L.L. Bean red plaid shirt, black Carhartt thermal T, black briefs, Dickies socks.

Lots of nice work boots today.

Got Warmer on Friday

Chip loggers (AM), Chip work boots (PM), Carhartt relaxed fleece-lined jeans, thick green/blue/white 2-pocket Carhartt shirt, natural Carhartt thermal T, black boxer briefs, new cold weather Carhartt boot socks.

In PM didn't need the Carhartt coat, probably didn't need the Carhartt sweatshirt. In AM needed them both.

First time since I started this blog (Feb. 2005), a guy said "nice boots" -- all right, it was a drunk on the bus just after noon.

Late in the day sighting of a male couple in their late 30's/early 40's -- wish I could wear 501's like that now.

Saturday: No long john bottoms

Sighting in the late afternoon: rubber knee high rubber boots on someone in my age bracket.

Full Moon Thursday

Two close Carhartt duck overall sightings: 1- nicely broken in arctic weight on a landscaper and 2- regular with straps down and having to hold them by the waist to keep them on.

More of a Storm than Predicted

Had the prediction been more accurate, I would have known to bring the bark arctic extremes bibs, the black Carhartt face mask, and the Hoffman pacs. Not as cold as the last couple of days but very messy!

Got a good look, albeit at a distance, of two MSP troopers in winter uniforms, one young, the other mature, both handsome, too.

Cold Friday

Carolina loggers (the 3rd of my favorite China-made boots), black Carhartt jeans, blue shirt, heather long sleeve Carhartt shirt, black Jockey pouch briefs, usual socks.

Early Thursday

Black Timberland PRO work boots (along with my Durango work cowboy boots, they are made in China; that means there are two non-USA made boots I like), middle wale blue cord pants, navy striped shirt, navy Carhartt T, black boxer briefs, usual socks.

Afternoon sighting: cowboy boots and jeans in the calf so tight you could see the shaft ended just above the calf -- was so entranced I didn't get a look up further. Then a motorcycle cop, big goon-like, whose fat calves were a match to mine!
