Guy walking down the street with his hands in his pockets while I was waiting for the bus in the morning that got me thinking about sex. I actually don't have to have something like that to trigger those thoughts.

Lots of bikers in front of the diner. A great array of boots (some nice jeans, too).

My favorite supermarket gave me a mutual cowboy boot sighting and plenty of work boots to think about.

A Private Day

Nothing is wrong, and it was neither an ordinary or an extraordinary day. However, I'm not doing my usual posting. I just need to take a day off and make it a private day today.

Tan Justin cowboy boots, so comfortable (and so inexpensive I've ordered another pair), unbleached Wrangler jeans (936's; yes, slim fit fits a guy at his normal size who's never been slim), purple/red muted plaid Brooks and Dunn snap shirt (bought on sale, a "bargain," the clerk said), white T & briefs, usual Dickies socks.

No sightings, but I did have fried cowboy potatoes at lunch. Does that count?

Both rain coat and Carhartt duck jacket were under the weather.

Balding 40s guy who always seems to be looking at me with disgust, who usually gets off a couple of stops after I get on, was still on the bus when I got off.

The morning commute was extremely wet (see picture below of what I should have been wearing). The sun did shine. But it also rained on the evening commute. And then there's this balding 40s guy who always seems to be looking at me with disgust.

I'm beginning to think that maybe I need web feet, but that would mean buying new boots. Frankly, I'm happy with the ones I have and would prefer to buy additional boots.

Thought maybe I should have been wearing hip waders but then coming out of the supermarket I saw a guy in rubber camo hunting boots ... maybe more appropriate ... maybe I should get some.
